I fixed some thingies today.. Like fixing up Samba to be a PDC with my testbox. Nice. Installed gdm with a [url=http://www.sid3windr.be/files/gdm.png]nice theme (crystal)[/url] & cygwin for the Xserver so I can run X apps on my linuxbox right on my Windows 2000 workstation 🙂 Thanks to ZeveRoaRe and [url=http://www.monkeynoodle.org/comp/remote-x-cygwin-howto]this howto[/url] for hints :)) That also means I can finally run my beloved Evolution from Windows (or kinda). :d

I wanted to install Gnome on the box, but it didn’t feel like (that’s what you get for running Debian Unstable), after digging through some dependencies I found everything depending on libxslt1, while it was superseded by libxslt1.1 … So with my magic fingers I made a dummy libxslt1 package so it could install, and yes, it did! 🙂 Go me! :d ([url=http://www.sid3windr.be/files/libxslt1_1.1.2-1_all.deb].deb file here[/url])

In sadder news however.. Diana is leaving tomorrow :'( So we’re having a quiet cosy movie evening now, I’m writing this to you in the break 🙂 Back to a boring old life tomorrow… (which will greatly increase my online-ness again ;))
