Got a new adapter for a Steering wheel I got (“Guillemot Force Feedback Race Leader Steering Wheel”, what a mouthful) .. cause I got one with a UK adapter first 😐 Now.. turns out there are no Windows 2000 drivers for it. Nor XP. Cause Microsoft decided not to support serial port gaming devices anymore… How gay. Now, turns out there’s a workaround to make it USB (why didn’t they do this in the first place) if you open it up and solder a USB cable to certain connection points (and I guess this does work). On my model there weren’t any connection pins so I couldn’t just use a plug, and I can’t solder at all, so no go there… I’ll just take it back to the store I guess.
