2 more kittens coming up! 😉

Whew, haven’t blogged in a while. The order is now fucked up but that’s all due to WordPress as I’m now retyping posts done before.

So, it’s been a while… as previously mentioned little kitten Zoe was going to join our family once we moved, she was a bit sick so she had to be taken care of, and we hadn’t seen her yet. We were almost going to pick her up when we heard she had a stroke and had to be put down…

Rest in peace little kitten… 

– Moving now to a new, bigger house

– Car still broken, but getting there, thanks to all supporting Alfa Romeo 156 Club members and blade/Koen helping to get it fixed!

– Moving to Telenet for our phone line because Belgacom charges 135 eur to move it and I can not back it out to a discovery line again, special promo from Telenet made me switch, getting free Digital TV ànd a free (well, 1 EUR) digibox for it as well.

– Toby doing well but still needs to learn some manners sometimes 😉

– New black kitten Zoe will probably enter the family once we settled in moving our stuff around

– Had a great time last sunday at the first AR156C sleuteldag  of 2008 (pity I didn’t have an Alfa to sleutel)

– Burger king rocks: large triple whopper menu + cheese + bacon + coke + frietsaus = heaven

– Time to lower the electricity cost at the new place, will likely swap some hardware around for silent and cool/low power things (even though at the end we are getting money from Electrabel, our monthly bill will be higher from now on, due to increase in prices I guess, argh)

– Busy as hell at work 😮

– Real Soon Now(tm), Java MythTV LiveTV frontend! Started a year ago, now Geert continued development 🙂  

– Donations accepted 😉 

Since an hour or 7 we’ve got a new member in our family, welcome Toby the 5-months-old Lhasa Apso 🙂 A bit shy, but everything is going pretty well, no fights with the cats or anything 🙂

In the meanwhile our little kitten Anshu has gotten a bit older and bigger and is very well integrated in our little family. She’s a little suspicious about the new intruder though 😉

Since tonight our little kitten (well, she turned 1 a month ago..) finally comes to sleep with us on the bed instead of staying behind in the living room. Cool 😀

Apparently it exists for quite a while, but seems I missed this neato CLR language 😉

In the meanwhile Anshu has been living with us for over a month… she’s happily playing with her toys and exploring new places in the house, still being amazed at how high and far she can jump or walk… or fall. However, on many occasions Claudia Lee is still jealous and tries to pick a fight. Anshu, not to be outdone, starts growling and acts all tough, usually a high speed chase around the living room and lots ouf meowing sound is the outcome. Hopefully their relation will improve in the future, they manage to sleep in the same bed half a meter away from each other already 😉

Since a little over a week (since sunday 22-oct) we have a new little kitten called Anshu (Hindi for “touched by the sunlight”) in the house to play with Claudia-lee. They don’t get too well along yet but hopefully that will improve. Pictures will soon follow I guess… 🙂

We got  her from a shop where there were way too many animals packed into small cages 🙁 Anshu had an infection in her eye and wasn’t treated for anything nor really cared about… I guess a cheap “brandless” kitty in their eyes deserves less support than a 650€ persian cat :s She seems to be doing better, but is quite shy and it’s hard to catch her to give her medicine…. but I’m sure her situation will improve, and hopefully Anshu and CL can play together soon 🙂 🙂
