Bitlbee testing server is back online

testing.bitlbee.org is back since a few days… on a machine owned and hosted by yours truly. After the project suffered loss of their main testing public server due to hardware failure I stepped up to offer new hosting; as soon as the files were recovered from the other machine the server was put up again. Feel free to use it (or my other IM server, running stable bitlbee, at im.codemonkey.be) for all your Bitlbee needs. Happy IM’ing!

What’s with the imcodemonkey.be server? It went offline Oct 27th or so and now when I log in I do not see my contacts?

I tried another server and I can see my contacts.

Hmm, it went down due to a problem with the software RAID set, and came back a day later when I found time to get to the datacenter. I’m currently using it without problem.

Does identify still work? If identified, does account list show your accounts?

Sorry, seems that ChatZilla lost the automated identify command configuration I set up. It logged me on after I manually passed the identify command. I can now see my contacts, presumably to all my accounts.
