I went to London again yesterday, by Eurostar. Got up ridiculously early (6:00!). 2nd class seats in Eurostar are a bit too small for me… guess I’ll have to make a lot of money later to be able to pay first class all the time, or just not go to England.
So… the trip. Apparently we were planning to go shopping, but were in London at 10, while shops opened at 12…
Ok, we decided to go to the British Museum. As we are going to Mexico in April, we thought of going to see the “Americas” part. There was a sign saying it was open until 11, so we went in… to be able to enjoy the room a whole 14 seconds… it was 10:45. Oh well, no 3 pounds for them then.
While wandering through the city, you can see billboards like ”Make gloves, not war!” or ”Please refrain from licking this bus.” Mmmkay. 😉
While shopping, I found a very nice book called The book of bunny suicides, filled with drawings of bunnies who want to commit suicide. I read all through it in the shop, and I highly recommend it 🙂
The Disney Store on the other hand… Finding Nemo seems to be a real quest. They have all characters from the movie, except Nemo. Isn’t that nice? 🙂
Although I was very very tired when I got home, I enjoyed the trip, let’s hope I can go back some time :d
