Hmh, laast weekend our GPS receiver broke. It still fixes on the sats, but the bluetooth is simply dead. No flashing led, no discovery on the PDA anymore 🙁 Quite sucky, when you’ve been driving for years on GPS and have come to rely upon it to get where you wanted to go… Google maps powered works, butit’s just not as easy… 🙁
Looking for a new one.. Sirfstar III or better, bluetooth, car adapter, MMCX-antenna connector. Cheapest I could find on eBay was 70 eur incl shipping, but that still sounds expensive for one from eBay… Any hints?

works really great and FAST for only €50 (incl shipping).
Me and Fabian bought our receivers from this seller (gps4evyone) you can always test mine if you want.
I really have no knowledge about GPS receivers but I think it has everything you need:

* You can charge it from an USB port and their is a very-handy-for-different-purposes-caradapter to 5V USB.
* According to the box it does Sirfstar III technology (whatever that may be)
* Has a connector for an external antenna (dno about type, are their differences? Looks a bit like RP-SMA)
* Also has a swappable battery, and i THINK they are the same as the new(er) Nokias batteries (in case you have a spare Nokia battery).
